Three cards. One pot. Pure nerve. Teen Patti on DarazPlay puts you at a professional live table against real players and dealers — in PKR, on your phone, at any hour. Whether you play blind or seen, the action never stops.
From the almighty Trail down to a High Card — knowing the hand order is everything in Teen Patti. Here is the complete ranking used on DarazPlay tables.
Three cards of the same rank — the strongest possible hand. Three Aces is the best Trail; three Twos is the weakest. Also called "Set" or "Three of a Kind." On DarazPlay live tables, this hand triggers celebratory animations and an instant pot win.
Three consecutive cards of the same suit — a straight flush. Ace-2-3 of the same suit is the highest Pure Sequence; 4-3-2 is the lowest. Rare and powerful, this hand beats everything except a Trail.
Three consecutive cards of mixed suits — a regular straight. A-2-3 is the best; 4-3-2 the lowest. Ace can only be used at the top or in A-2-3; not in K-A-2.
Three cards of the same suit, not in sequence. When two players both hold Colour hands, the highest card decides; then second highest; then third. A-K-J of the same suit is the best Colour hand.
Two cards of the same rank. When two players both have pairs, the higher pair wins; if equal, the kicker (third card) decides. Ace-Ace pair with King kicker is the strongest pair hand.
No combination — the highest card determines the winner. When both players have the same high card, compare the second, then third. Most hands dealt in a real game will be High Card hands, so knowing how to play them strategically matters.
Walk into any home in Pakistan on the night of Eid, or a wedding gathering in Lahore, or a college common room in Karachi, and there is a reasonable chance someone is playing Teen Patti. The game has been woven into the social fabric of the subcontinent for generations — it is fast, suspenseful, requires skill and nerve in equal measure, and almost anyone can pick up the basics within a single round. DarazPlay takes this beloved game and gives it a proper live-dealer platform: real cards, real dealers, real PKR, and the kind of polished table experience that was previously only available in overseas casinos.
The mechanics are well known to most Pakistani players but worth stating clearly for newcomers. A standard 52-card deck is used. Each player at the table receives three cards face-down. Before cards are dealt, every player must post a mandatory bet called the boot — the starting pot. On DarazPlay tables, the boot starts at Rs 200. After cards are dealt, players take turns in clockwise order. On your turn, you may either continue in the round by placing a bet, or fold and surrender your current stake. If you have not looked at your cards, you are playing "blind" and bet half the current stake. If you have looked, you are playing "seen" and bet the full current stake or double it to raise.
The round continues until either all players but one have folded — in which case the remaining player wins the pot without showing — or a "show" is called. A show happens when only two players remain and one demands to see the other's hand. The player with the better hand according to Teen Patti rankings wins the entire pot. Ties go to the player who did not call the show. This asymmetry in tie-breaking is one of the small strategic nuances that experienced players exploit — calling a show versus demanding one carries different implications.
One of the most distinctive and strategically interesting aspects of Teen Patti is the blind player concept. If you choose not to look at your cards, you play at half the staking cost of seen players — and you project genuine uncertainty onto every player at the table. Nobody, including you, knows whether you hold a Trail or a High Card. This unpredictability has real value. Experienced Teen Patti players on DarazPlay often start blind for several rounds purely to build the pot cheaply and to observe how other seen players react to their bets, gathering information before committing to a strategy.
The flip side is that playing blind for too long can become expensive even at half stakes if the pot builds large. The art is knowing when to look, when to stay blind, and when to fold. DarazPlay's live Teen Patti interface makes this decision visible — your blind or seen status is clearly indicated, and the current minimum bet for your position is always displayed prominently so you never accidentally commit the wrong amount.
DarazPlay's Teen Patti tables support the "side show" or "back show" rule that is standard in traditional play. If you are a seen player and the player immediately before you is also seen, you can request a side show — a private comparison of hands between just the two of you. The player with the weaker hand must fold immediately, reducing the active player count without a full showdown. Side shows inject a fascinating mini-game of their own: do you request one, risking that your opponent's hand might be stronger? Or do you stay in the main round and hope the remaining players fold?
The compromised show — where both players agree to leave the decision to a third party or simply show cards openly — is also available on selected DarazPlay Teen Patti tables. These features are toggled per table and clearly indicated in the table information panel before you sit down, so you always know exactly which rule set applies.

Classic Teen Patti is just the beginning. DarazPlay hosts six distinct variants catering to every playing style and experience level.
The original, unmodified format played across South Asia for generations. Standard hand rankings, blind/seen mechanics, side show and show rules exactly as tradition dictates.
Most PopularWild cards are randomly designated at the start of each round — any card of that rank becomes a joker and can substitute for any other card. Dramatically increases the frequency of high-ranking hands.
Wild CardAces, Kings, Fours and Sevens are all wild cards throughout the round. The game becomes explosively unpredictable — Trail hands appear far more frequently and the pots grow fast.
High ActionThe hand rankings are completely reversed — the lowest hand wins. A High Card beats a Trail. This variant rewards a completely different strategic approach and surprises regular players who switch to it for the first time.
Reversed RanksThe objective changes — instead of the best hand, the player whose three-card total is closest to 999 wins. Each card's face value is used; face cards count as zero. A completely different game experience with the same table format.
Number GameClassic rules, premium live studio, higher stake limits from Rs 5,000 boot. Reserved for DarazPlay VIP members and players who prefer fewer opponents with larger pots. Dedicated table host provides a concierge-level experience.
